CEPT TEACHING CERTIFICATE

CEPT trains its own providers to ensure that there is a set standard of teaching. This means that for both course lecturers and in-field providers there is a known level of achievement to be attained by the students, and set teaching aims and methods. This is also links in with CEPT's Day One Competencies for its graduates.

The teaching certificate is run by Marjorie Somerville, our qualified educationalist, and comprises 50 hours over a series of modules. The time is spent either in directed home study, or observed sessions at Nottingham Vet School.

The fees and further details for the course are available on application (click here). Please note that providers for CEPT students are not charged for studying the teaching certificate.
