CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WITH CEPT

CEPT provides a CPD service whereby particular course modules are presented as one-day CPD events.

These are open to all, although numbers are limited.

SUNDAY 18th MARCH 2012.

One day CPD course on Pulsed Magnetic Induction Therapy to be held at Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, Sutton Bonington Campus, LE12 5RD.
Course includes the electrical nature of the body, basic physics of magnetic induction and pulsed magnetic inductive interaction with soft and hard tissue. Case studies.

Starting at 10:00 hrs through to 16:00 hrs. Attracts 5 CPD hours credit for which certificates will be given.

Course Tutor: Dr David Somerville.

Buffet lunch provided.

Cost £100-00.
ACPAT / IRVAP members £80-00.

 
SUNDAY 15th APRIL 2012.

One day CPD course on Phototherapy (generically called LASER) to be held at Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, Sutton Bonington Campus, LE12 5RD.

Course includes the nature of light, basic physics of emitter devices, absorption and photo-chemical processes, energy considerations, dosage calculations and case studies.

Starting at 10:00 hrs through to 16:00 hrs. Attracts 5 CPD hours credit for which certificates will be given.

Course tutor: Dr David Somerville.

Buffet lunch provided.

Cost £100-00.
ACPAT / IRVAP members £80-00.

Do you offer (or plan to offer)  short courses, give talks to agility groups and others, provide practical training for students? If so, this short course can improve your skills.

Delivered through a combination of guided distance learning, taught modules and  practical experience with small groups of students, the course content includes:

V.  Working with those with special needs requirements

Taught modules are held at Sutton Bonington Campus of Nottingham University veterinary School over approx. 4 weekends.
